Superstar Rajinikanth and sensational director Shankar are teaming up for the third time with 2.0. The movie is said to be a sci fi thriller that is made on a whopping budget of Rs 600 crores. Akshay Kumar essayed the role of the lead antagonist and Amy Jackson is the heroine. 2.0 released across the globe in record number of screens in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi on November 29th.
The film received thumping response all over but the numbers have been disappointing. While the theatrical rights of 2.0 have been sold out for Rs 72 crores, the movie raked Rs 40 crores in its first week across AP and Telangana which is below par.
