Stylish Star Allu Arjun is keen on attaining the tag of a pan Indian actor. He felt that Pushpa is the right script to make his debut in Bollywood. Making use of the unexpected break, Allu Arjun kept himself busy listening to hundreds of scripts. He even turned a helping hand for his father Allu Aravind who staged hunt for web series and web-based films for his digital platform Aha. Allu Arjun announced Icon some time ago and the project was planned to be directed by MCA fame Sriram Venu.
With the recent speculations about Allu Arjun holding talks with Koratala Siva, everyone felt that Allu Arjun shelved Icon. But the project is very much on. Allu Arjun is keen to take up Icon after he completes the shoot of Pushpa. He is in touch with the film’s director Sriram Venu who is currently fine-tuning the script. The project will roll in 2022 after the release of Pushpa. Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations will produce this big-budget project.
