Superstar Rajinikanth has been facing tough time at the box-office and his recent outing 2.0 ended up as a decent hit. Soon the actor is gearing up to test his luck at the box-office with Petta which is a mass entertainer. Karthik Subbaraj is the director and the entire post-production work of the film has been wrapped up recently. Petta completed censor scrutiny today.

The film has been passed without any cuts and it got U/A certificate from the censor board authorities. The film’s run time is said to be 171 minutes. The Telugu version too will release along with Tamil and Hindi on January 10th across the globe. Anirudh is the music composer and Vijay Sethupathi, Simran, Trisha, Bobby Simha, Sasikumar, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Megha Akash will be seen essaying other crucial roles. Sun Pictures are the producers.
