Superstar Rajinikanth scored a decent hit with Petta recently and the actor is on a break from the past three months. He signed his next film in the direction of AR Murugadoss and the film is said to be an out and out commercial entertainer. The pre-production work of the film has been wrapped up recently and the makers today released the first look poster of the film has been out today.

The film is titled Darbar and Rajinikanth stuns in the new avatar for the film. The regular shoot starts this month and Nayanthara is the heroine. Anirudh Ravichander has been roped in as the music composer and Santosh Sivan handles the cinematography work. Produced by Lyca Productions, Darbar has been slated for Sankranthi 2020 release.
