In spite of lacking any impressive content, “Babu Bangaram” featuring victory Venkatesh and the gracious beauty Nayanthara has more or less finished the maiden week run with decent figures.

The main factors which helped the film is lack of competition that has resulted in good collections. The movie seems to have collected Rs 17 crore share so far in Telugu states.

At the same time, trade sources reveal that it needs another eight crores for reaching breakeven. The film is Maruthi’s first big attempt with a top hero and he has pinned many hopes on its success!
