Tamil blockbuster Asuran made it to the news in Tollywood after top producer Suresh Babu acquired the remake rights of the film. Victory Venkatesh will play the lead role in the film and a series of screenings have been held for some of the young and talented directors to direct the remake. Names like Srikanth Addala, Hanu Raghavapudi and Venkatesh Maha are named in the list.
The latest update is that Srikanth Addala has been locked to direct the cult classic. Srikanth Addala along with his team already started working on the project which will start rolling early next year. The pre-production work is on and the cast, crew members are finalized. Suresh Productions and V Creations will bankroll this project. Venky will be seen in a new look and the film releases during summer 2020.
