Top production house Mythri Movie Makers who are on the top and are busy with several big budget projects backed a small film titled Mathu Vadalara. The film is made on a shoestring budget of Rs 2 crores including the publicity cost. Sri Simha is making his debut as an actor and Kaala Bhairava is making his debut as a music composer. Ritesh Rana directed Mathu Vadalara which released across the globe yesterday.
The film opened on a dull note and the reviews, word of mouth has been extremely satisfactory. The film received critical acclaim and picked up well by the evening shows. Mathu Vadalara is expected to have a decent run across the multiplexes and A centres during the season. The makers are already in profits as they recovered the investments through the non-theatrical rights. The performance of the lead actors and technicians too are appreciated. On the whole, Mathu Vadalara is a different attempt that will appeal to the audience who love thrillers.
