Victory Venkatesh and Naga Chaitanya are teaming up for the first time for an emotional family entertainer which is titled Venky Mama. The film is directed by KS Ravindra (Bobby) and is in final stages of shoot. Rashi Khanna and Payal Rajput are the leading ladies in Venky Mama. The film was initially slated for Dasara release and it is later pushed to Diwali. But Venky Mama will now release during December.
Though the film was initially planned on a budget of Rs 30 crores, the final budget crept up to Rs 40 crores which is huge. Excluding F2, no film of Venkatesh crossed Rs 30 crore mark. Now, Venky Mama should perform exceptionally well to end up as a safe project. SS Thaman is the music composer and Suresh Productions, People Media Factory are the producers. Venky Mama will release during the first week of December.
