Taxiwaala Movie Review

Young Superstar Vijay Devarakonda’s long delayed project Taxiwaala is finally hitting the screens today. Rahul Sankrityan is the director and Priyanka Jawalkar is the heroine. GA2 Pictures and UV Creations are the producers. Taxiwaala is carrying decent expectations and here is the complete review of the film:

Story:

Taxiwaala is all about the story of Siva (Vijay Devarakonda), an aspiring youngster who dreams of earning money. After struggling to settle in life, he buys a car which changes his life. He falls in love with Anu (Priyanka Jawalkar) and things change completely after his car turns out to be a place for weird things. Soon, Siva realizes that there is a ghost in his car and the rest of Taxiwaala is all about the story of ghost and what happens next.

Positives:

Vijay Devarakonda
Priyanka Jawalkar
First half
Entertainment

Negatives:

Songs
Poor VFX
Climax
Second Half

Performances:

Vijay Devarakonda has been extremely convincing in the role of a cab driver and as a struggling youngster. His comic timing has been top notch and will be remembered for a long time. Priyanka Jawalkar is a treat to watch and she performed well throughout. She is a performer and is here to stay. Madhunadhan shines in his assignment throughout the film. All the other actors have been good and apt.

The story of Taxiwaala looks interesting but the second half of the film fails to convince the audience. The screenplay and dialogues have been good. The music and the background score have been unimpressive. The cinematography work is a treat and the production values have been grand. Rahul Sankrityan has been decent with his narration.

Verdict:

Vijay Devarakonda shines as a cab driver and Taxiwaala is a decent one time watch though the second half turns out to be a boring feast.
