Story:
Amar (Ravi Teja) and Aishwarya (Ileana) are born for each other and their parents into a business which takes a huge heap in USA and leads to the top. Eyeing to tumble it, a bunch of goons kill their parents after which Amar and Aishwarya turns orphans. Soon they get separated and the rest of Amar Akbar Anthony is all about how Amar traps the goons and kills them along with winning up getting back to Aishwarya. Performances:
Ravi Teja looks subtle and delivered out his best for the film. He looks energetic as Akbar and his screen presence has been good. Ileana is out of shape and is unfit as a heroine. Tarun Arora, Adithya Menon, Vikramjeet Virk and Rajveer Ankur Singh have been deadly. Vennela Kishore, Sunil, Sreenivas Reddy, Raghu Babu, Jayaprakash Reddy and Satya tried to impress the audience. All the other actors have been decent.
Right from the original plot to the screenplay and direction, Amar Akbar Anthony is a huge misfire. The comedy tracks look crappy and will shatter the audience who expect some rib ticking entertainment. The music and the background score too make no impact. The cinematography and the grand production values are the only saviors. Sreenu Vaitla disappoints the audience big time with Amar Akbar Anthony.
