Talented actor Vijay Devarakonda scored back to back hits and he sounded extremely confident on Dear Comrade which released recently in all the South Indian languages. The film released between huge expectations and it has been declared as a disaster. The film struggled to touch Rs 20 crores mark and the film fraternity is left in deep shock with the update. Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar acquired the Hindi remake rights of Dear Comrade.
Karan Johar watched the film even before the release and announced that he would make the film in Hindi. Though he wanted Vijay Devarakonda to reprise his role, the actor is not ready. With Dear Comrade ending up as a dud, Karan Johar is in plans to shelve the project as he is not keen on the project. As of now, the project is shelved.
