As expected, the ruling party at the Centre, the Bharatiya Janatha party somehow managed to successfully stop the private bill seeking Special category status from coming to discussion on Friday.
All major parties issued their whip in this regard and sources say that the video taken by AAP Punjab MP of all security procedures in Parliament and his uploading on social media diverted the agenda.
It was a boon in disguise for the BJP which had been waiting for an excuse. Now the scene will be shifted to Monday when the Rajya Sabha meets once again!
