After the formation of Telangana state, the TRS government has been coming up with many fancy schemes with the propaganda that they are going to build a self-sufficient state. One such scheme was ‘Haritha Haram’ from Telangana forest department.
The objective behind this is to create a strong green cover for Telangana state within three years. Lakhs of trees and saplings were meant to be planted as part of this. But here is the truth, none of that has happened till now.
Not a single tree has been planted but the submission of bills and clearance of payments was done without any hitch. That way, the hard earned public money is being misused and looted by few crooks with no interest towards public welfare. What a shame!
