Telugu Desam Party chief and Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu seems to have stirred the hornet’s nest again at a time when the denial of special status has become a huge sentimental issue in the state.
He reportedly called up Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi and reportedly extended his thanks for offering a special financial package to the beleaguered state.
Naidu has been getting the wrath of the Opposition parties for last week’s mid-night press conference where he had thanked the Centre for the special package. This is now being highlighted by his rivals as absolute surrender.
