Samantha Akkineni is a star actress now and she is yet to sign her next Telugu film after the super success of Oh Baby. The actress signed her first-ever web series ‘The Family Man-2’ and is shooting for it in Mumbai. Samantha has been approached to reprise her role from U-Turn, an action thriller that ended up as an impressive hit in Telugu and Tamil. The actress turned down the offer and said that she is not interested to essay the role.
U-Turn is inspired by a Kannada blockbuster which is directed by Pavan Kumar. He has been roped in to direct the Hindi version. With Samantha rejecting the offer, Taapseee Pannu has been finalized and the regular shoot commences next year. Ekta Kapoor will bankroll the Hindi version and the film releases during the second half of 2020.
