Mega Prince Varun Tej after a disaster like Anthariksham 9000kmph made his comeback with F2 and the film ended up as one of the biggest hits in his career. The actor took a break, lost huge weight and returned back to work recently. His next film Valmiki is currently under shoot and is directed by Harish Shankar. The film is an action thriller and is the remake of Tamil blockbuster Jigarthandaa.

The actor after the super succeess of F2 hiked his fee. He was charging Rs 3 crores per film in the past and he is now taking Rs 6 crores for Valmiki. The film will release during August and 14 Reels Plus are the producers. Devi Sri Prasad is the music composer and Varun Tej plays the role of the lead antagonist in the film.
