Nandamuri Balakrishna is shattered with the debacle of NTR biopic. The actor turned busy with politics and completed his work for the polls. He soon shifted his focus towards films back and he signed his next film in the direction of KS Ravikumar. The movie is said to be an out and out mass entertainer and is titled Ruler. Balakrishna plays a powerful cop in this action drama.

The regular shoot starts from June and the makers are busy finalizing the lead actors and technicians. Hari Priya and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar are the heroines. Hari Priya worked with Balakrishna in Jai Simha and Varlaxmi Sarathkumar plays a role with negative shades. C Kalyan will produce the film and the movie will release for Sankranthi 2020. Balakrishna will be seen in a never seen look in Ruler.
