His recent movie Chanakya, a spy thriller was made on a massive budget and it ended up as the biggest dud in the actor’s career. His next film that was announced by BVSN Prasad got shelved and the actor is left in shock. Gopichand signed his next film for Sampath Nandi and the film is set in the backdrop of Kabaddi.
Gopichand who was charging Rs 4.5 crores per film is now said to have slashed down his remuneration. Sampath Nandi’s film will need good budget and the makers asked Gopichand to share the profits instead of taking home his remuneration. The actor was convinced with the proposal and will share the profits instead of taking his pay home. Tamannaah is the leading lady and Srinivas Chitturi is the producer. The regular shoot of this untitled film starts from December.
