Story:

Maharshi is the story of Rishi in three different phases. The film narrates about his college days and how he dreams of making big. Soon he turns a mighty businessman in USA and the third phase has a backstory and we are not spilling out here. Rishi returns back to a village and the rest of Maharshi is all about his stand for farmers. Mahesh Babu is a stunner and show-stealer. He comes out with one more stupendous work with Maharshi. He carried the entire film on his shoulders and is a treat to watch. His performance in the emotional episodes has been outstanding. Pooja Hegde is a glamorous treat to watch and she performed well in the assignment. Allari Naresh is one more support for the film and his emotional presence and performance will be remembered. Jagapathi Babu is a treat and his performance as a baddie has been presented well. Prakash Raj, Rao Ramesh and Vennela Kishore have been outstanding in their assignments.

The story of Maharshi is layered with entertainment, emotion and a social message. The screenplay looks good and the dialogues have been decent. The music of DSP is just ok and the background score looks good in the second half. The editing looks crisp and the cinematography work stands out. The grand production values are the major highlights of Maharshi. Vamshi Paidipally steps out with his best work till date with Maharshi.

Maharshi is an emotionally packed social drama layered with entertainment and emotions in the right amounts. Mahesh Babu and his team delivered out their best for the film.
