Tollywood’s young sensation Vijay Devarakonda is all set to test his luck for the first time this year with Dear Comrade. The film is a social drama and it underwent reshoots several times. Bharat Kamma is making his debut as director and the film is set in the backdrop of Kakinada. Vijay Devarakonda plays a student leader in this social drama. Rashmika Mandanna is romancing Vijay Devarakonda for the second time with this social drama.

Though the makers initially planned to release Dear Comrade during summer, the delay in the post-production work delayed the release. Dear Comrade will now release on July 26th across the globe. Justin Prabhakaran is the music director and Mythri Movie Makers are the producers. With cricket fever all over during June, Vijay Devarakonda and his team decided to release the film during July.
