Vijay Devarakonda emerged as the new Superstar of Telugu cinema with back to back hits. His next offering Dear Comrade is hitting the screens today and is carrying massive expectations. Bharat Kamma is the director and Rashmika Mandanna is the female lead. Justin Prabhakaran’s music is already topping the music charts and Mythri Movie Makers are the producers. Story:

Dear Comrade is the story of two aspiring youngsters Bobby (Vijay Devarakonda) and Lily (Rashmika Mandanna). While Bobby is a student leader, Lily is an aspiring cricketer who tries for nationals. Dear Comrade is a journey after they fell in love and the struggles they face in a relationship. Dear Comrade also delivers a strong message about having one person standing strong. Performances:

Vijay Devarakonda stands tall and fits well in the bill. He looks energetic and his stunning screen presence, emotional performance are the major highlights of Dear Comrade. Rashmika Mandanna too has been perfect in her role and she shines in the role of Lily. The film has a bunch of actors in crucial roles and everyone delivered their best.

Dear Comrade has an interesting plot and it is the narration that makes the film. The screenplay looks ok and the dialogues have been top class. The music and background score are the film’s strengths and the cinematography work excels. The production values look grand and Bharat Kamma delivers his best work with an emotional drama.

Verdict:

Dear Comrade is a decent attempt which has the right amounts of romance, action and romance. Vijay Devarakonda and Rashmika Mandanna top the show.
