Mega Prince Varun Tej after two blockbusters Fidaa and Tholi Prema is testing his luck with Anthariksham 9000 kmph which is directed by Sankalp. Story:

Anthariksham 9000 kmph is all about Dev (Varun Tej) who is an expert in dealing satellites. Due to unexpected consequences, he leaves his job. A team sends Mihira satellite to space but it loses its track. It is during this time, they recall Dev and the rest of the film is all about the mission in space. Dev along with Riya (Aditi Rao Hydari) and other astronauts moves to space to fix the code for Mihira. Varun Tej thrills the audience in his new look and subtle performance. The actor is here to stand and he should be appreciated for his unique script selection. Lavanya Tripathi is a treat and her character has been well penned and executed. Aditi Rao Hydari lives up the expectations and she performed well in the assignment. Rahman, Srinivas Avasarala and Satyadev have been quite supportive. All the other actors delivered out well in their roles.

Anthariksham 9000 kmph has a unique plot and it keeps a new premises for Telugu cinema. The screenplay looks decent and the dialogues have been good. The music and the cinematography work turn major assets for the film. The production values look grand and the editing work has been sharp. Sankalp Reddy has been decent with his work but the slow pace will leave Anthariksham 9000 kmph impress limited sections of audience.
