Talented writer and director Harish Shankar is teaming up with Mega Prince Varun Tej for the first time for an action drama titled Valmiki. The film is inspired from Tamil blockbuster Jigarthandaa and is in final stages of post-production. Atharvaa Murali, Pooja Hegde and Dimple Hayathi will be seen essaying other crucial roles in Valmiki and the makers announced that the film will release on September 13th.
The film will clash with Nani’s Gang Leader and as per the request from the distributors, the makers of Valmiki decided to push the release date. Valmiki will now release on September 20th all over and an official announcement about the new release date will be out soon. 14 Reels Plus bankrolled Valmiki and Mickey J Meyer is the music composer. Varun Tej’s rugged look from Valmiki already received top class response from the audience.
