Young actor Sree Vishnu has been working hard to make his impact feel in Tollywood. After a decent break, he is back with his next film titled Mental Madhilo. Vivek Athreya is making his directorial debut with the film and Nivetha Pethuraj is the female lead. Raj Kandukuri bankrolled the movie and here is the complete review of the film.
Story:
Mental Madhilo is all about the life story of Aravind Krishna (Sree Vishnu) who looks extremely confused right from his childhood. As time goes, the process of confusion turns out to be hectic for Aravind and his family. His parents struggle a lot to find a girl after which they find Swecha (Nivetha Pethuraj). She is extremely modern and matured. Things change slowly with the company of Swecha and at the right time, Aravind gets to move to Mumbai for some time. He gets close to Renu (Amrutha) and the rest of Mental Madhilo is all about how Aravind gets confused about choosing about his life partner. Watch the film to know about the rest.
Analysis:
The first half of Mental Madhilo has its moments throughout and the audience will get related to the film at some point of time. The characterization of Sree Vishnu has been well penned and is the major highlight of Mental Madhilo. The songs have been extremely beautiful and placed well. The romantic drama is one among the major highlights of the film and the first half of Mental Madhilo lives up the expectations.
The second half of Mental Madhilo too has been handled with utmost care and perfection. The film never gets deviated though it turns slow for some time. The songs have been shot well and they have been extremely colorful. The pre-climax episodes strike hard and the emotional climax makes Mental Madhilo a decent one time watch.
Performance:
Sree Vishnu strikes hard with his emotional and subtle performance for Mental Madhilo. He has been extremely impressive in the emotional episodes and is a treat to watch. Nivetha Pethuraj has been extremely impressive and she dominated the entire picture with her performance alone. Amrutha steals the show in her limited role. Sivaji Raja is a treat to watch and he has been flawless throughout and handled the entertainment. All the other actors delivered out their best
The story of Mental Madhilo has been extremely decent and has nothing exciting. But the screenplay and the narration strikes hard that the film tops the show. The dialogues have been extremely convincing and the music, background score strike hard. The cinematography is the major asset for Mental Madhilo and the production values look lavish. The editing has been crisp enough and debutant Vivek Athreya makes an impressive debut with Mental Madhilo.
Verdict:
Mental Madhilo is one film that has beautiful moments throughout the film. Sree Vishnu and Nivetha Pethuraj managed to top the show with their flawless performances. A beautiful romantic ride.
