Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s latest film Mersal is a smashing hit across Tamil Nadu and the movie discusses about health mafia in the country. Atlee directed the movie and Samantha, Nithya Menen, Kajal played the female leads. Vijay essayed three different roles in the movie and AR Rahman composed the music. Mersal grossed Rs 212 crores in just 12 days of its box-office run across the globe.
The Telugu version of the movie has been struck with the censor problems and has been delayed thrice. The makers are trying hard to clear all the issues however they are yet to receive a confirmation on the same. They are in plans to approach the revision committee to get clearance and release the film. Sri Thenandal Films produced this prestigious project.
