King Nagarjuna was always keen on producing the biopic of his father Late ANR but it never happened. Right after NTR biopic is being made, Nag hired a special team of writers and prepared the script of the prestigious project. With the recent biopics bombing badly at the box-office, Nag shelved the project and his plans. Nag recently watched NTR biopic and loved the film.

He was left puzzled and came to know that the audience are not in a mood to watch biopics. Now he shelved his plans of producing ANR’s biopic and decided to move to his next project. The actor will join the sets of Manmadhudu 2 from next month and the entire film will be canned in Portugal. Rahul Ravindran is the director and Rakul Preet Singh, Payal Rajput are the female leads. Produced by Annapurna Studios, the film releases during December this year.
