After the first installment of KGF ended up as a massive hit, the makers are taking the second installment to the standards of pan India. They are busy finalizing a bunch of Bollywood actors to get a huge appeal and lavish standards for KGF: Chapter 2. Prashant Neel will direct the film and Yash, Srinidhi Shetty will play the lead roles. The pre-production work of the film is currently in final stages.

After Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt has been roped in for a crucial role, the makers are currently in talks with Raveena Tandon for another important role. The actress loved the role and she decided to come on to the board. The regular shoot commences from April and the makers are keen on releasing the film by summer next year. The entire shoot will be completed by the end of this year. Hombale Films are the producers.
