Superstar Rajinikanth has been on a break and is busy promoting 2.0 which is releasing on November 29th. Shankar is the director and 2.0 is made on a massive budget. The actor also wrapped up shooting for his next film which has been titled Petta. Karthik Subbaraj is the director and Simran, Trisha, Vijay Sethupathi, Sasikumar, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Bobby Simha will be seen in other crucial roles.
As per the latest news, the film has been announced for Sankranthi 2019 release. With lot of speculations all over, the makers clarified that the film is in Sankranthi 2019 race. Anirudh Ravichander is the music composer and Sun Pictures are the producers. Petta will clash with Ajith’s Viswasam during Sankranthi.
