Nandamuri Natasimham Balakrishna is known for his magnanimity and his powerful onscreen presence. Outside, he is known for his statements which are sometimes perceived in a rather controversial manner.
Something like that has happened now with Balayya’s statement during his birthday celebrations in USA. He reportedly mentioned as to how people of Telangana got to eat white rice only after his father introduced the Rs 2 per kg scheme.
This has not gone well with the Telangana folks and they have mentioned that Balayya is insulting them. Now, everybody knows the nature of Balayya so it is next to impossible he would have said that intentionally.
