The legal battle which the YSR Congress party MLA and firebrand actress R K Roja had launched against her much humiliating one-year suspension from the AP Assembly over alleged ‘indecent’ behaviour seem to have come as anti-climax.
After forgoing all the legal options, Roja forwarded letter to Speaker Kodela Sivaprasada Rao and she tendered an unconditional apology over her behaviour in the House and she also requested him to revoke her suspension.
Many of the senior YSR Congress leaders feel that she could have simply said sorry than losing her dignity with such a bitter battle! Buzz is that she got full support from Y S Jagan and hence this battle.
