Rakul Preet Singh signed a bunch of Tamil films and she wrapped up the shoot of these films recently after which she shifted her focus towards Telugu movies. She signed Venky Mama that features Venkatesh and Naga Chaitanya in the lead roles. The film started rolling recently and Rakul Preet has been replaced with Rashi Khanna recently which left many in surprise.

But going into the news, Rakul Preet loved the assignment in Nagarjuna’s Manmadhudu 2 after which she signed the film and walked out of Venky Mama. Rakul plays Nagarjuna’s wife in this romantic entertainer. The regular shoot starts from March in Portugal and most of the film will be canned there. Annapurna Studios are the producers and Devi Sri Prasad is the music director. Rahul Ravindran will direct this romantic entertainer.
