Natural Star Nani completed shooting for his next film Jersey which is touted to be a sports drama. But the film also has an intimate love story along with enough dose of emotional drama. Gowtam Tinnanuri is the director and Shraddha Srinath is the heroine. The film has been inspired from a real life story and Jersey is hitting the screens during April.

As per the update, Gowtam wanted an intimate liplock scene in a song between Nani and Shraddha Srinath. But Nani straightaway said that he is not ready for any liplocks on screen and the makers changed their plans. Nani promised his wife Anjana years ago that he will never do any liplock scenes in films. Anirudh composed the music and Sithara Entertainments are the producers.
