Story:
Shailaja Reddy Alludu is the story of Chaitu (Naga Chaitanya), a responsible youngster who stays away from egos. He falls in love with Anu (Anu Emmanuel) who is filled with loads of egos. She finally falls for him after which the real problems start. The rest of Shailaja Reddy Alludu is all about Shailaja Reddy and how Chaitu convinces her ending up happy. Performances:
Naga Chaitanya tops the show with his flawless performance throughout the film. He has been outstanding in the emotional episodes and dominated well. Anu Emmanuel performed well but her costumes and the way she has been presented on screen have been below average. Ramya Krishna makes a thumping comeback and her roaring performance elevated the second half well. Vennela Kishore and Prudhvi tried hard to entertain the audience with the poorly written comic episodes. Murali Sharma and Naresh have been decent in their assignments. All the other actors did justice for their roles.
The story of Shailaja Reddy Alludu has nothing new and interesting. With an old plot, the screenplay and dialogues make the film worse. The music has been ok but the songs have not been shot well. The cinematography work stands out and the production values have been grand enough. Maruthi fails in all the available ways in churning Shailaja Reddy Alludu into an impressive product.
Verdict:
Shailaja Reddy Alludu is a poor film that lacks interesting plot and engaging narration. A stale film that has been dragged without a strong conflict point.
