Story:

Syeraa is the story of freedom fighter Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy and is inspired from important aspects from his life. The major plot revolves around how Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy brought the people of Rayalaseema to a common platform and revolted against the Britishers before Independence. Uyyalavada unites 61 palegars from Rayalaseema and they fight several times against the British for their rights. Watch Syeraa to know about the complete story.

Positives:

Megastar Chiranjeevi
War episodes
Technical aspects
Interval Episode

Negatives:

Dragged Second Half
Boring Narration
Slow Pace

Performances:

Megastar Chiranjeevi is a stunner and he performs well in the role of Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy. He performed well in the action sequences and is one of the major highlights of the film. Amitabh Bachchan plays Uyyalavada’s Guru and he had limited screen presence in the film. Nayanthara and Tamannaah performed well in their roles which are meaty. Vijay Sethupathi, Kicha Sudeep and Jagapathi Babu performed well in Syeraa.

Syeraa is inspired by the life story of Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy. The screenplay and dialogues looked decent. The music and the background score elevates the film well and both the songs are well presented on screen. The cinematography work of Syeraa stands as one of the best works and VFX effects have been top class. The production values look grand enough and Surendar Reddy delivers a decent work with his direction.

Verdict:

Syeraa is a decent attempt and Megastar shines well with his performance. The second half looks boring and dragged enough in this engaging periodic drama.
