Kamal Haasan lands into legal trouble for Rs 10 Cr dues

Tamil film producer KE Gnanavel Raja approached Tamil Film Producers’ Council (TFPC) against actor Kamal Haasan for the non-payment of funds borrowed by the actor in 2015. Gnanavel Raja said that Kamal approached him for Rs 10 crores during the release of his film Uthama Villain in 2015 and he never returned back the money. Gnanavel Raja said that Kamal was in a financial crunch and he helped him bailout during the film’s release.

Gnanavel Raja said that Kamal promised to do a film for his production house Studio Green for the financial help but he never turned out. After four complete years, Gnanavel Raja approached TFPC against Kamal Haasan for the pending dues. TFPC is expected to take a call on this soon and sort out the issue. Kamal Haasan is currently shooting for Indian 2 in the direction of Shankar and the film releases next year.
