Despite a remake movie and also the original version dubbed into Telugu and telecasted several times in television, Katama Rayudu movie has made a pre release business of 100 cores. Though the movie story is known still the audience have made a huge ques in front of theatres.
Even after a disastrous flop like Sardar Gabbar Singh the much awaited Katama Rayudu made a grand release in AP, Telengana, Tamilnadu, Karnataka and overseas. First time in history of Telugu cinema in overseas Katama Rayudu made a whooping release with more than 300 screens.
With premiers Katama Rayudu made business of 6.15 Lakhs USD (approx 4.1 Crores INR). Cine galaxy has bought overseas rights for 11 crores. The move has already made 4.1 crores with premiere shows and expected to make huge profits for the overseas buyers. Industry sources say the movie is expected to cross 10 crore overseas business in the first week itself.
