Natural Star Nani is betting big with his next film titled Jersey. The film is a sports drama based on cricket and is directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri. Shraddha Srinath played the female lead and Nani plays a struggling cricketer Arjun in the film. Jersey also promises to be high on emotions and it has a cute love story. The makers released ‘Journey of Jersey’ today and the making video reveals Nani’s passion for Telugu cinema. The actor was trained specially for 70 days in the sport before he started shooting for the movie.

The movie has been shot extensively across two international cricket stadiums in Hyderabad. Made on a massive budget, Nani did not take home his remuneration and will share the profits. He looked extremely professional in the making video as a cricketer. 130 Ranji cricketers are roped in for the 24 days of cricket shoot. Anirudh Ravichander is the music director and Sithara Entertainments are the producers. Jersey is hitting the screens on April 19th all over.
