Akhil Akkineni needs to make an impact with his third film Mr Majnu after his first two films ended up as duds. The actor pinned all his hopes on this film which is a breezy romantic entertainer directed by Venky Atluri. Akhil and Nidhhi Agerwal are the lead actors in the film that is all set to hit the screens on January 25th during the Republic Day weekend.

After Akhil and Hello ended up as duds, Mr Majnu registered low pre-release business all over. The film’s theatrical rights have been sold out for Rs 22.5 crores which is the least among his movies. The film is carrying decent expectations and a positive word of mouth will sure fetch positive results for the movie. BVSN Prasad is the producer and SS Thaman is the music composer.
