Megastar Chiranjeevi’s magnum opus Syeraa released across the globe on October 2nd in all the Indian languages. The theatrical rights of the film have been sold for Rs 200 crores and the film received a mixed response outside the Telugu states and it ended up as a disappointment. The film raked Rs 103.9 crores across AP and Telangana which is decent. The movie also raked Rs 141.4 crores worldwide which is good.
But the makers suffered huge losses as the theatrical rights of Syeraa have been picked up for Rs 200 crores. Surendar Reddy directed the movie and Chiranjeevi, Nayanthara, Amitabh Bachchan, Anushka, Jagapathi Babu, Tamannaah, Vijay Sethupathi and Kicha Sudeep played the lead roles. Amit Trivedi composed the music and Konidela Production Company bankrolled the movie. Here are the closing collections of Syeraa:
