Megastar Chiranjeevi is one of the finest actors of Telugu cinema and the actor after a long break is back to shoot for Syeraa which is said to be a periodic drama. Nayanathara is the female lead and Surendar Reddy is the director. After a long delay the regular shoot of the film started in December. A massive action episode has been shot after which the schedule has been wrapped up. There have been wide speculations that Chiranjeevi is unhappy with the output and he decided to replace Surendar Reddy. Names like VV Vinayak and Gunasekhar have been speculated to be replaced.
There are talks that Megastar Chiranjeevi personally met veteran and top filmmaker K Raghavendra Rao to direct the film from the next schedule. However the latest update says that K Raghavendra Rao is not ready to direct the film and he rejected his proposal. Megastar Chiranjeevi is left puzzled about the film now and the shoot of Syeraa has been kept on hold. Ram Charan is bankrolling Syeraa on Konidela Production Company banner.
