There have been wide speculations about the next project of Harish Shankar from some time. Though he wanted to direct Daagudu Moothalu in Dil Raju’s production, the project did not materialize and was kept on hold. Harish Shankar landed into controversies after the release of Duvvada Jagannadham and was idle from the past one and half year. Now the latest update says that he is all set for his next project.

Harish Shankar decided to remake Tamil blockbuster Jigarthanda and the film will be launched officially on January 27th in Hyderabad. Naga Shaurya is the lead actor and Varun Tej is the lead villain in this action thriller. Harish Shankar made enough changes in the script to thrill the Tollywood audience. 14 Reels Plus will produce this big budget action thriller and the film will release during the second half of this year.
