There have been wide speculations that Suriya’s upcoming movie Gang is not releasing as planned during Sankranthi due to the lack of theatres during the holiday season. Keeping an end to all the rumors, the makers clarified that Gang is very much in the race and will hit the theatres in record number of screens. Directed by Vignesh Shivan, the film is said to be a mass entertainer and is the remake of Hindi blockbuster Special 26.
Keerthy Suresh played the female lead in the movie and Anirudh Ravichander composed the tunes. A pre-release event has been planned and the event will take place in Hyderabad. Suriya will be in Hyderabad for the film’s promotions and KE Gnanavelraja produced Gang on Studio Green banner. The film has been slated for release on January 12th all over.
