Mass Raja Ravi Teja pinned many hopes on his next film Amar Akbar Anthony which is directed by Srinu Vaitla. The film has been announced for November 16th release and is directed by Mythri Movie Makers. The production house locked Ravi Teja for one more film that is the remake of Tamil blockbuster Theri. Santosh Srinivas has been roped in to direct the film.
If the latest speculations are to be believed, the film has been shelved. After Savyasachi ended up as a dud, Mythri Movie Makers turned careful and are in plans to produce films that are high on content. Ravi Teja too is not keen on remaking Theri and wanted to walk out. He will soon start shooting for his next film in the direction of VI Anand and the film has been tentatively titled Disco Raja.
