The prestigious NTR’s biopic has been creating ripples across Telugu cinema. Nandamuri Balakrishna is reprising the role of his father and the film is currently under shoot. Krish is the director and Vidya Balan is playing Basavatarakam, the wife of NTR. The makers today announced that the first installment NTR – Kathanayakudu will hit the screens on January 9th during Sankranthi next year.
Now the makers stepped out with one more announcement saying that the second installment has been titled NTR – Mahanayakudu. The film will release on January 24th during Republic Day weekend. Rana Daggubati, Sumanth and Kalyanram will be seen in other pivotal roles. NBK Films, Vibri Media and Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram are bankrolling NTR.
