Young and talented Vijay Devarakonda scored two blockbusters with Geetha Govindam and Taxiwaala last year. The actor recently completed shooting for his next film titled Dear Comrade which is a social and political drama. Bharat Kamma is the director and Rashmika Mandanna is the heroine. The entire shoot of Dear Comrade has been wrapped up but Vijay Devarakonda is not happy with the final draft.

He planned back the schedules and some of the episodes will be shot again. With over 50 days of shoot pending, the makers decided to push the release of Dear Comrade. The film will not release during summer and an official announcement on the release date will be out once the entire shoot of Dear Comrade will be called off. Mythri Movie Makers are the producers and Vijay Devarakonda will play a communist youth leader in Dear Comrade.
