Natural Star Nani is all set to surprise the audience as a cricketer in his next film that is titled Jersey. Nani plays a cricketer Arjun in the film which is directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri and is in final stages of shoot. Shraddha Srinath is the heroine and the makers are keen on releasing the film during April this year. The makers closed all the rights recently and received record prices.

The satellite, digital and Hindi dubbing rights of Jersey are sold for a record price of Rs 18 crores which is highest among Nani’s films. The makers are in plans to sell the theatrical rights for record prices. Nani instead of taking remuneration will share the profits of the project. Sithara Entertainments are the producers and Anirudh is composing the music and the background score.
