Legendary actress Savitri will stay in the hearts of the audience forever and a biopic on the legendary actress is currently on cards. Young director Nag Ashwin is directing this prestigious project which is made on a massive budget. Massive sets have been erected to reprise 1970s in the movie and Keerthy Suresh has been roped in to play Savitri on screen. Samantha, Dulquer Salman, Vijay Devarakonda and Prakash Raj will be seen essaying other pivotal roles in the film.

The makers have been left in shock with the leaked picture and are in plans to release the first look on March 18th during Ugadi. C Ashwini Dutt is producing Mahanati and the film will release during June. The entire shoot of Mahanati will be called off by the end of this month.
