There have been several rumours about Tollywood’s association with drugs. Several producers, actors and others have been traced and arrested for consuming drugs. The Hyderabad excise cops busted out the biggest mafia in the recent times and the cops revealed that several celebrities have been associated with the drug mafia. The Telangana excise department issued notices for three young actors, two producers, four directors and a stunt master over consuming drugs.
The summon revealed that they have been asked to attend for the trial before six days without fail. Soon after the news came out, Movie Artists Association held a pressmeet pledging Tollywood not to get addicted for drugs. Sivaji Raja, Suresh Babu, Allu Aravind, Srikanth and Naresh made their presence requesting the whole industry to stay away from drugs. They warned some celebrities to stay away from drug consumption who have been spoiling the name of Telugu cinema.
