Tollywood has been in a dull phase and the audience are showing no interest to watch films in theatres. Post Dasara, there was no successful film other than Karthi’s Khaidi. A bunch of small budget films released this Friday and most of the films opened on a dull note. Karthikeya’s 90 ML received decent openings but the poor word of mouth left the film fall flat. The collections dropped badly by the evening shows.
Srinivas Reddy tested his luck as a director and producer with Bhagyanagara Veedhullo Gammathu and the film failed to register decent openings. Miss Match too was promoted widely but the film failed to register decent footfalls. Several other films released yesterday and some of the films were not screened due to lack of audience. Tollywood witnessed one more dull weekend at the box-office. Victory Venkatesh and Naga Chaitanya starrer Venky Mama is slated for release next Friday with which the Christmas season starts.
