Lakshmi’s NTR created a bunch of controversies after the theatrical trailer was out. Ram Gopal Varma as predicted had no stuff in the film and was just left with sensational episodes showcased in the trailer. The film released in Telangana and ended up as a dud. The release of Lakshmi’s NTR was stalled in Andhra Pradesh due to the ongoing elections. The film is now finally releasing on May 1st in the state. RGV wanted to conduct a press meet in Vijayawada but was rejected.

He was forcefully sent back to Hyderabad and a furious Ram Gopal Varma took a decision to direct the sequel for Lakshmi’s NTR. He said that he would narrate what all happened behind the film’s making during this time and said that the film would be a sensational one. We have to wait and see if RGV creates one more sensation with Lakshmi’s NTR 2 or if it ends up as an announcement. RGV also announcement a film on Tamil Nadu ex-Chief Minister Jayalalithaa recently.
